Action
An action game requires players to use quick
reflexes, accuracy, and timing to overcome obstacles. It is perhaps the most
basic of gaming genres, and certainly one of the broadest. Action games tend to
have game play with emphasis on combat. There are many sub genres of action
games, such as fighting games and first-person
shooters.
Ball and paddle
The predecessor of all console game genres, a
ball-and-paddle game was the first game implemented on a home console (Pong). Later renditions have included Breakout, which was a driving influence behind the Apple II
computer, and Arkanoid, an arcade staple for many years. A
version of Breakout called Block Buster was also packaged with the first handheld console with
swappable cartridges, the Micro vision.

Sony is yet to confirm the existence of the PS4 games console, but it exists out there somewhere.
The real questions are; when will the PS4 hit the shelves? What sort of hardware will it pack? And will it even be calledthe PlayStation 4?
There have been rumours doing the rounds suggesting that Sony is calling the PS4 'Orbis'. This comes from a source speaking to Kotaku "who is not authorised to talk publicly about next-gen hardware but has shared correct information" with them before.
